Marianne is a true example of glass blowing art. The blowing takes place in a free and open mould, composed of steel lamellae. Depending on the strength of the blow, the incandescent glass is pushed between the blades with a different movement and the shape of the vase that emerges is always slightly but perceptibly different. The milky white finish of the Marianne vase is obtained by combining a layer of white glass with transparent glass in the crucible.
