It is called Times like the famous font, and has the same economy of sign and incisiveness of a typographic project. It is the bed in Poltrona Frau’s new vision. The headboard of the Times bed is a striking interlock between leather, wood and, if desired, fabric. The structure of the headboard, in solid ash wood, is a pure meeting of lines skilfully designed to support the vertical bands in Pelle Frau® leather that, in turn, cross and divide the soft, wide horizontal cushion. The effect is a calm balance between full and empty spaces. The Times bed is also the freedom to change appearance in a few gestures. The upholstery of the large headboard cushion, which can also be purchased individually, can be varied in colour and material, choosing between Pelle Frau® leather and fabric. The cushion padding is in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The footboard of the Times bed is made of poplar plywood, the sides of the bed are made of fir strips, all with light padding in polyurethane foam and upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather. Feet in solid Moka stained ash wood.
